Dr. Justin C. Anderson was born and raised in Monmouth Beach, NJ and joined the team at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates in the fall of 2023. He completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY with a major in Cellular & Developmental Biology and a minor in Mathematics. Dr. Anderson pursued an additional 1-year scholarship at the University of Rochester to explore the interrelations of popular music and American culture. He then completed his Doctor of Medicine at the prestigious Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City. Dr. Anderson was commissioned as an officer in the US Army under the Health Professions Scholarship Program following entry into medical school. He then completed his Orthopedic Surgery internship and residency at Madigan Army Medical Center on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Following active duty service, Dr. Anderson returned to the Pacific Northwest to join Oly Ortho as a general orthopaedic surgeon for 2 years. He then elected to pursue an additional 10 months of advanced training in Hip & Knee Replacement (Adult Reconstruction) surgery at JIS Orthopaedics under the tutelage of renowned joint replacement surgeon, Adolph V. Lombardi Jr., MD, FACS. He returned to Oly Ortho in the summer of 2026 to specialize in joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Anderson’s clinical interests include minimally invasive primary hip and knee replacement, muscle-sparing anterior approach total hip arthroplasty, ligament-sparing “Kinematic Alignment” total knee replacement, mobile-bearing cementless partial knee replacement, and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. He has additional training in robotic-assisted total joint replacement.
When Dr. Anderson is not seeing patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing pickleball, running, cycling, snowboarding, cooking, and following the NY based sports teams.
