Dr. Brendan D. Masini is an accomplished Orthopaedic Sports Medicine physician with expertise in arthroscopy of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Raised in Chicago, IL, and Cleveland, OH, Dr. Masini is a retired U.S. Army Colonel who has dedicated over 20 years to military service, with a focus on trauma surgery and sports medicine. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He further honed his expertise through a prestigious fellowship in Sports Medicine at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Dr. Masini’s clinical interests include hip arthroscopy, knee ligament and meniscus injuries, and shoulder instability. He has served as a team physician for NCAA athletes, the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program, and as a volunteer at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. His leadership has extended to supporting military sports medicine initiatives, including leading medical teams at the Military World Games in China and preparing for the 2025 Military World Winter Games in Switzerland.

In addition to his clinical and military leadership, Dr. Masini has published over 20 peer-reviewed research articles and is an advocate for advancing musculoskeletal care. Outside of medicine, he is passionate about youth sports, snowboarding, and baseball card collecting.
