Dr. Chase Foster is a dual fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in advanced spine surgery and peripheral nerve surgery. He offers the full spectrum of spinal care, from ultra-minimally invasive endoscopic procedures to complex spinal deformity correction, with a focus on restoring function and improving quality of life.
Dr. Foster treats a wide variety of spinal conditions, including degenerative spine disease, spinal deformities, traumatic spine injuries, spinal tumors, and peripheral nerve disorders. His expertise also includes advanced endoscopic spine surgery, nerve repair, and nerve transfer procedures, allowing him to offer innovative treatment options for patients with complex neurological conditions.
Originally from Copperas Cove, Texas, Dr. Foster earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University before completing medical school at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Foster School of Medicine. He completed both his internship and neurosurgery residency at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He then pursued two highly specialized fellowships: one in Peripheral Nerve Surgery at Johns Hopkins University and a second in Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery through the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.
Committed to advancing the field of neurosurgery, Dr. Foster has contributed to published research and maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the American Society for Peripheral Nerve.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Foster enjoys spending time with his family, staying active through fitness and outdoor activities, following Premier League soccer, playing guitar, traveling, and reading about astrophysics.
