Hand Therapist
Sara Kim, OTR/L is a board-certified occupational therapist specializing in hand therapy at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates. She is dedicated to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence after injury or surgery, with a particular focus on post-surgical recovery and wound care.
Originally from Alabama, Sara completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University in New York City, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based rehabilitation and patient-centered care.
Sara is ASTYM certified, allowing her to provide advanced soft-tissue treatment techniques that support healing and improved function. She is also a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence.
Outside of the clinic, Sara enjoys drawing, baking, and playing video games—creative outlets that help her bring patience, precision, and a bit of fun to her work. She strives to create a supportive, encouraging environment where patients feel heard, motivated, and empowered throughout their recovery.
