Dr. Mike Henry is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in trauma and acute orthopaedic care. He brings over 20 years of diverse experience from Canada, the U.S., and military service in Afghanistan.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 1997, Dr. Henry received his medical degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2002. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at UBC, followed by advanced fellowship training at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Henry’s career includes diverse experience in both Canadian and U.S. healthcare systems. In 2008, he served with the Canadian Forces in Kandahar, Afghanistan, where he provided care to US, NATO, and civilian casualties. Dr. Henry has practiced in several regions across North America. Most recently, he has been busy with Orthopedic Trauma in Richland, WA and Twin Falls, ID. Mike was previously recognized for outstanding patient care at Mason General Hospital.

A Pacific Northwest enthusiast, Dr. Henry enjoys skiing, wakeboarding, traveling, and spending time outdoors with his wife. With a daughter and son both in college in Seattle, Mike and his wife SuLin are now empty nesters and are looking forward to the exciting next step with Olympia Orthopaedic Associates. Having lived and worked in Canada, the Midwest and across the western US, Dr. Henry says he’s found his true home in the Pacific Northwest. “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be—it’s one of the best places on Earth.”
