About Annie

Matson

Annie Parrish Matson, PA-C, joined Team Moore in early 2025, specializing in total hip and knee replacement. Raised in Boise, ID, Annie developed a passion for healthcare early on, leading her to a distinguished career in both military and civilian medicine. She earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of Puget Sound and American Military University, followed by her physician assistant training at the University of Washington MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program. Annie’s background includes extensive medical training, including service as an Army Healthcare Specialist and Combat Medic, where she earned the Combat Medic Badge during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004.

Annie is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS), staying at the forefront of advancements in orthopaedic care. In addition to her medical expertise, she holds certifications in Rescue SCUBA, reflecting her adventurous spirit. Outside of work, Annie enjoys camping, backpacking, SCUBA diving, and indulging in sci-fi books and movies. She also has a creative side, spending her free time knitting and crocheting.
