In the summer of 2018, I ruptured a disc in my back. I was in extreme pain that continued for about three months while I tried just about every option to regain my health. Unfortunately, nothing worked, so I ended up getting an MRI on my back.
A family friend told me about an OlyOrtho Neurosurgeon but I was hesitant about pursuing surgery. I went ahead and made an appointment.
After reviewing my MRI, my doctor indicated to me that surgery would probably be my only option for getting back on my feet.
Our son was getting married in a few days, and because of the pain, I knew I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the celebration. I decided to have the surgery. He told me that he would have me back on my feet for the wedding.
The surgery was a success and I was able to enjoy the wedding! I am back at the gym and playing golf pain-free. All of the employees at Olympia Orthopaedics were very kind and helpful throughout the process.
