Physician Assistant

Tyler Truskoski joined Oly Ortho in the late spring of 2023 and works directly with Dr. Trent McKay at our Eastside Clinic. Tyler holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) and started his career at Spectrum Health (Grand Rapids, MI) in cardiothoracic intensive care, moved to Honolulu, HI with All Access Orthopedics treating an array of acute orthopedic injuries in their urgent care setting as well as assisting in sports medicine surgery.  

Tyler made the decision to move from Hawaii to the state of Washington where he worked in trauma surgery and acute general surgery with Trauma Trust in Tacoma, WA. However, his interest in orthopedic surgery drove him to find a new position with MultiCare Orthopedic surgery working in both Puyallup and Auburn, WA. Tyler ultimately chose to follow his passion and further his career at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates. 

Tyler, who grew up in Michigan, enjoys both watching and playing ice hockey. He likes watching professional and college football (Go Blue). He enjoys spending time outdoors, especially in the water or at the beach. His other hobbies and interests include golfing, spending time at the gym, traveling to new places or visiting friends/family, and he also enjoys cooking.
